The service was wonderful. And the food was very tasty. I recommend the Katsu chicken, it's very crispy and the sauce that comes with it is delicious. Our server was very attentive, answered all of our questions, as it was our first time there, and recommended good choices to everyone.

Great service! It was very busy, but we were quickly seated! This place is family owned and such an energetic environment in an otherwise quiet area. Food was great! Sit at the bar if you can and chat it up with the employees (Eddy is the owner!). So fun and so sweet - even let us sample some sake!

Octopus and mackerel sashimi is on my mind and available here. Side of rice also. And coming soon. Hot tea drink. Nice and older setting in a strip mall very near my hotel. Also added a spicy tuna roll. All is excellent!

In town for a mini family getaway and came across this sushi place after we got turned away from Akira in Santa Cruz. Super quiet and relaxing vibe. Got serviced right away. Ladies were very attentive and nice. Sushi and Udan were super delicious. If you're in town and craving something light, and flavorful try this place out.

We had originally meant to eat at Inaka in San Juan Bautista, but the owners had decided to go on vacation. Since my wife had a strong desire to eat at a Japanese restaurant, I found through Yelp that the nearest one was seven miles away. There are signs up everywhere that they are shorthanded, but that night they seemed to have enough workers on hand. The workers are good, hardworking and attentive. A young man walked by a few times to see if we needed anything. Another man took our order and it came out without delay. Neither of us was in the mood for sushi. Honestly, the sushi looked as good as any we've had. That night, we just wanted a combination meal in a bento box. If I have any complaint, it is the fact that the menu does not offer a 2-item combination meal for less than $23. If you want a combination, you have to order three items. Also, there are no free refills on drinks. I had the grilled salmon, the mixed tempura, and gyoza, all very tasty. I notice that some reviewers here on Yelp complained about the food being tasteless. IMHO, the food is not bland, with the small exception of the tempura dip. Everything else was delicious and well-cooked. The restaurant interior is a little strange. If you look hard enough, you will find odd little things like a gun handle on a draft beer handle and a very oddly ornate archway to a small elevated seating area, probably vestiges of the previous owner. There is ample parking out front. The restrooms are clean. The ambiance is friendly. Try it and see for yourself.
